Accountabilities:

  • Meet or exceed used truck sales and profitability objectives
  • Seek new customers daily; includes making personal visits to prospective truck buyers; making outbound phone calls and using digital media and the internet to network and uncover sales leads
  • Provide sales assistance to dealership walk-in and call-in customers
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and support; including technical expertise, truck knowledge and finance options
  • Educate customers on truck features and demonstrate use as needed; accompany customers on test drives
  • Complete sales transactions in accordance with established dealership policies; write sales orders, secure customer deposit and complete all necessary paper work
  • Professional delivery of sold units including explanation of warranty and service policies
  • Provide ongoing customer service and support to all truck buyers; manage a CRM schedule to ensure post-sale contact is maintained and contact details are updated
  • Timely resolve any customer issues or complaints

Skills, Knowledge and/ or Experience Required:

  • Broad knowledge of all types of used class 5, 6, 7 & 8 trucks and components
  • Familiarity with trucking industry is a plus
  • High level of professionalism and business acumen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Wisconsin CDL driver’s license
  • Customer service focused
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual language a plus: Polish, Bosnian, Serbian or Russian

Educational requirements

High school diploma or Medium/Heavy duty truck industry equivalent experience
